Dufftown (aged 44 years)

Old & Rare ~ distilled at Dufftown Distillery, and aged 44 years.

Bottled in 2019 from a single cask, one of 239 bottles.

This golden whisky has a wonderfully soft and complex nose of ripe orchard fruits, honeycomb and a hint of caramel. More ripe fruits on the palate joined by gentle citrus notes, marzipan and a pleasant waxiness. The finish is long and slightly drying with a spicy note of lingering oak.
